Biography
Dennis Wienand is a researcher at the Department of Health Economics, Centre for Public Health, at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria. He has obtained his Master of Science degree in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
Dennis’ research interest especially lies in the application of health economic modelling techniques to assess the cost-effectiveness of interventions, as well as the appraisal of economic burden of diseases. He is currently conducting his PhD thesis in which he aims to identify the physical comorbidity costs of mental health disorders using evidence synthesis and modelling techniques.
